Fit Tips for Working Out
- Stretch three to seven days per week after warming up. Stretching makes you more flexible improving your posture and physical performance. Stretching is also one of the best ways to relieve stress!
- Do weights before cardio. Resistance training depends primarily on glycogen stores. Do cardio first and you risk depleting them. Your body will then begin to break down muscle tissue which defeats your sculpting efforts.
- Work all of your muscles to decrease risk of injury.
- Use a challenging weight. You should feel out of breath by the eighth rep. If you can breeze through 15 reps, its time to add more weight.
- You need 20-60 minutes of cardio three to five times a week.
- Incorporate intervals into at least one weekly cardio workout.
- Change your routine every three to four weeks
