At CU Fitness, we encourage cross training and pursuing activities you enjoy. Research shows you are more likely to adhere to regular schedule of exercise and physical fitness if you participate in activities which interest you. We can show you how to structure both resistance training and cardiovascular activity using several different methods.

The fitness assessment is an important starting point. This important measure helps us ascertain your current level of fitness, as well as help us plan a realistic and reasonable course of action.

Setting reasonable goals is an important part of your success, and we want to help you devise a plan you are sure to stick with, and get the results you want. We use several variables, including waist/hip ratio (W/H ratio), Body Mass Index (BMI), and helping you find a desirable and healthy weight and body fat percentage as well. All these factors help us determine your fitness plan.

Your program should be as individual as you are, and we may discover many alternate forms of exercise and activity which will help you achieve your ultimate state of fitness. Once we complete the assessment, we can utilize several avenues we have to complete your program. For example, we may suggest you concentrate on resistance training and supplement with cardiovascular conditioning.

A sample program following this protocol might include 2-3 weight training workouts focusing of course on the body parts and/or muscle groups which need the most work. To complement the weight training, we might suggest interval training on our cardio equipment, walking outdoors, taking one of our group classes, or perhaps have you try some Pilates. The point is, we will make sure your program covers your goals and is designed specifically for you.

We can accomodate most requests--if you have a special event coming up, or just decide it is time to achieve your ultimate state of fitness--We can help you do it! We offer home training and analysis too, if you don't want to come to us--let us bring fitness to you. Ask for details on how we can set this particular plan up.

More specifically, our services include the above, as well as providing a clean, private, beautiful facility for you to work out--we have a limited number of memberships available if the large crowded gym scene isn't your idea of a positive environment. Ask us about our full use, and limited use memberships. We offer short and long term deals (6 months-24 months) and can tailor make a length of time to suit your life. We understand that in today's mobile society, having flexibiity in time is a must. We can invoice you, bill a major credit card, or we even offer options to pay up front for a small discount.
